Applications for the 2022 Incubation Programme, offered by the Durban Technology Centre for Social Entrepreneurship (CSE), are currently open. 

All small and medium businesses from Durban are encouraged to apply for the Entrepreneurship Incubation Programme by 3 June 2022.

The programme is aimed at developing attractive business concepts, establishing storing and sustainable organisations, and building lasting customer relations and market access opportunities. 

The Incubation Programme is fuelled by the following: mentorship and coaching, networking and market access, access to finance, brand building, technology transfer, business development training, compliance, and prototype development. 

Interested small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) must have the following documents:

·        Company profile

·        CIPC document

·        Tax compliance status

·        BBBE certificate

·        Bank confirmation letter

·        And have a least two employees

The CSE is a rapid business incubator that was established at the Durban University of Technology in 2015 at the ML Sultan Campus. The Incubation Programme is funded by Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) to develop and support small businesses within Durban surroundings. The CSE has thus far helped establish 105 SMME’s, supported 243 SMME’s, and trained 7 350 youth.
