City's First Online Auction

EThekwini Municipality will on 16 and 17 September hold its first online auction of vehicles, office furniture and equipment. In partnership with Auction Specialist, the process is set to be a quicker, safer, and more effective.
 
A selection of vehicles and redundant assets-including computers, laptops, printers, furniture, and other miscellaneous items will be sold.
André Petersen, Head of the Supply Chain Management Unit, said: “The City is excited to launch its inaugural online auction. We extend a special invitation to all previously disadvantaged individuals to participate to assist the City to advance our Radical Economic Transformation objectives.”

The auction will take place on 16 to 17 September. Viewing will be available from 13 to 15 September at 11 Electron Road, Springfield.
Registration is currently open and will close on 15 September at 12pm. Bidding opens at 8am on 16 September and closes at 10am on 17 September.
