EThekwini calls for community organisations to apply for Grant-In-Aid

EThekwini Municipality invites all arts, culture, and heritage NGOs, NPOs and NPC organisations within the Municipal area to apply for Grant-In-Aid funding 2023/2024 financial year.

The GIA is geared to alleviate financial strain from organisations doing remarkable work in achieving the strategic goals of eThekwini Municipality,
aligned with the Integrated Development Plan. The aim is to create economic opportunities for initiated projects that contribute positively towards the development and promotion of art, culture, and heritage especially in rural and township areas of eThekwini.

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must ensure compliance with all requirements. Applications must
be accompanied by the following documents:
 

  • Application Form
  • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Annual Financial Statements 2021-2022
  • Certified copy of the Registration Certificate of the Entity
  • Certified ID copies of the Entity’s Directors
  • Detailed Entity Profile
  • Detailed Project Plan
  • 2 Reference Letters
  • Ensure that none of the Directors work for eThekwini Municipality or any other government department
  • Proof of address for the Entity
  • Proof of Registration with eThekwini Municipality Supply Chains Management
  • Proof of Registration with Central Supplier Database
  • Proof of Registration with Municipal Vendor Portal government department
