The Durban Business Fair is the City’s flagship exhibition that serves as a platform for businesses to showcase their products and services while expanding their network of business contacts.

The street market will showcase about 250 quality and unique products of local business and will be held from 10 to 12 December at the Durban Exhibition Centre. Other components of the Durban Business Fair include Flavours of Durban which will showcase local cuisine, a digital marketing training masterclass, business engagements, and fashion shows.

Deputy Head of SMME Development in the Municipality Nonku Mthembu said: “The core objective of the Durban Business Fair and its features is to promote products made in Durban. Buying local keeps money in communities, creates jobs for locals and boosts the local economy.”

Mthembu said the fair also aims to assist businesses to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic which has impacted economies.

The fair is free for the public to attend. Residents are urged to come out in their numbers for the three-day exhibition which starts on 10 December.
